Minivan heaven...

So we finally bought... a MINIVAN!!!! I wanted one but Jason really didn't. We got one anyway. It's a very practical vehicle! It's also very comfortable and a little bit luxurious. We bought a Chrysler Town and Country Limited which is known as the Cadillac of minivans (can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?). Lol! It has heated leather seats, a DVD player, a navigation system which talks to us, back seats that fold completely into the floor, etc. Even though Jason wasn't really into it, when he found out that he can hook up his gaming system to the DVD screen he admitted that he liked that idea! Maybe we'll have to buy a Playstation so he can play Guitar Hero on long trips... Lol again!!

Anyway, the best part and the real reason that we bought the van is that it will be VERY EASY for me to get Eliot's car seat in and out of the vehicle and haul massive tons of crap wherever we go. It will also be nice for us when we drive back and forth to Sioux Falls frequently. The Corolla, as nice as it was, just wasn't going to cut it anymore. Jason will get to keep driving our Volvo (which he likes) on a daily basis.

On a different note, we took Eliot for a walk today (his second ever). It was 68 degrees and sunny. When we got to the lake, it was a little windy and a bit cooler since there's still ice on the lake. We made it almost all the way around before Eliot decided that it was too cold (don't worry - he was bundled up) and started screaming. We hustled back to the car while everyone who walked past us stared - they probably thought we were terrible parents! Oh well. It was fun and good exercise, which both me and Jason need, as you probably noticed from the Twins game pictures.

Ahhh the things we buy when we have babies... :) We bought a minivan too - lol! Yours sounds fancy! We could have a playdate in it for the kids.
