Another boy finally arrives!

The last of three grand babies (at least for a year or two...) arrived on Sunday, April 27th. Behring Edward was born at 2:20 am weighing a whopping 9 lbs, 4 oz and measuring 22 inches long. He has a head full of thick, blond hair which is completely adorable. His cousins, Eliot and Berkley are jealous! Here's a picture of the three amigos, a picture of Auntie Kerri with Behring, and a picture of Charlie and her Angels. Sandy had a hard labor, but she was awesome and powered through it without any drugs!!!

I went back to work part-time on Wednesday, April 23rd (back full-time next month) and it's been a bit of a transition for our whole family. I'm very sad to be away from Eliot, even if it is only for 4 hours a day. Eliot is sad to be away from us, too and he's cried quite a bit at daycare and given Les, our good friend, super stay-at-home Dad and Eliot's daycare provider, a bit of a hard time. However, it was a little better today so hopefully the transition gets a little easier as we keep doing it every day. It is nice to get back into a routine and our life is slowly becoming more normal or at least, what is becoming a new normal for us!

Jason and I had our first date without Eliot this month - we saw the Broadway musical, Jersey Boys. It was a great show! Grandma Bev & Papa John were his first babysitters and Eliot was an angel. He even giggled for them!

Eliot also got to spend some time with family this month - we had dinner with Tammy, Alysa, and Grandma Carole. Tammy was able to make Eliot laugh like crazy! So cute! He wasn't so happy sitting with Grandma Carole, though and she was pretty nervous about it. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Sandy came over and spend some time with Eliot, too.

Eliot's changed quite a bit this month. He's starting to be very interactive and talks with us regularly. His motor skills are improving and he's playing with his new toys and is able to grasp them and direct them towards his mouth as he like to chew on everything! He's also started to try and sit up when we lay him down. We're having so much fun - I can't believe we waited so long to have a baby!
